Little Things in Life

So sweet, a can of tea leaves from Leicester London, England, bearing the route of the Underground (as their train system is called). Thank you, Chee Seng my brother!

Dream Come True

I have had a taste of being in the place where I was born and interacting with the locals and spreading my culture to them as well.

The feeling is... surreal. It has been a childhood dream to at least know friends from HK, let alone go through thick and thin with them. It's more than what I can ever ask for!

Thank you for the opportunity, SLC, I am grateful!

Good night world, I love you all!

Life passing you by

Leaving Hongkong at 2030h on 31st July 2006.

Wheel Fetish

There has been a spate of bicycle wheel thefts around my neighbourhood, and these photos taken using my handphone show the aftermath of the unfortunate events.
To replace the wheel costs about a third of a new bicycle.
Since this is my bike, I guess an upgrade is imminent. I have officially been cycling over a year now, taken part in 2 night cycling sessions with friends, and the third one this coming 12th August!

Finding Student Leadership Conference 2006 hard to forget

The essence of the entire conference is that with the agenda of this umbrella term, "leadership" in mind, people in groups of 12 or so interact with each other, using the opportunity to hone their instintive skills to empower one another to do things in an everchanging world.

True to what theories have proven, that at this age and time there is no absolute leader: someone good at talking politics may have no ground at all when trying to untangle a mess of hands intertwined together. We take turns.

Finding SLC 2006 hard to forget: Ken, Forian, Sandy, Richard, Yao Kui, Ann, Vicky, Ha Youn, Rita, Nancy, May, Claire, and of course Iori & Isabel.

给我这二十一年来其中最开心的日子, 也许因为没想到有得去而得到的意外收获. 谢谢你们!

Never stop believing.
