Ah yes~

The feeling of being alive after running 10 rounds in this hot weather. Good!

Got screwed upon realising that the VCD i bought from HK, 花样年华, was only the behind the scenes coverage. Damn it! But baby and I watched this movie instead, 百分百感觉 2003 starring Shawn Yue & Stephy et al. Not as shallow as I thought it would be, very reflective of the contradictions and conflicts in the game of love in a material world. Makes me sad also that all the shows only focus on the glamourous metropolitan lifestyles of HKers, and little if not at all on the downtrodden, you know, shows that inspire after protagonists go through real challenges other than not being able to get their dream girl / job / lifestyle. No surprise Shawn Yue is a sought-after high-ranking advertising executive who gets all the girls he wants.

Useless muse of the day: Heard this on Newsradio's Slice of Life segment. If you feel life sucks, go to a hospital. No not to see a doctor for sleeping pills! Seeing the people who are terminally ill, despondent relatives, bedridden, and suddenly you will be glad to be alive the way you are, as the patients would give anything to trade places with you.

You know you're a geek when...

You dismantle your mp3 player to this state, solder back some parts, and it actually works again!

"If only i can increase the capacity of players the same way," thought the modern day Victor Frankenstein who has all the knowledge, but no wisdom.

Sucky is

When you're looking forward to a nice student meal from Pizza Hut, and it suddenly rains cats, dogs, giraffes, elephants, hippotamuses hippopotamuses and everything huge.

I was working hard for this meal! It'd better stop in half an hour.

Suddenly looking forward to the closure of Arts Canteen

Because there's supposedly a make-shift one beside LT11. Thrilling as food for the next semester will have to be taken away in plastic containers and eaten in the lecture theatres.

It has its own fun, packing lunch to go and munching on something to keep from falling asleep.

Then again I hope it's not plastic containers but paper wrappers instead for the sake of environmental friendliness. Imagine all the waste generated by students daily!

A change would do you good.
