goes something like this. So in modern times, heterosexual men have to either be rich or powerful, or both, to get the women they want. Good looks and being well-hung are a plus. Average joes need not apply.

As for women, they either have to be pretty and well-endowed, or both. Being able to cook and excellent in bed are a plus. Average janes need not apply.

Sounds like the technopreneurs and porn stars can marry one another already. "And the rest of you, quit whining about that falling birth rate, it's not our fault. Natural selection has come to a decision."

Just something extrapolated from what was mentioned in Critical Intro to Gaming today: gender polarities in games, how stereotypes about the genders are perpetuated first through films and now through games.

If quiet is the new loud

And loud is the new quiet,

then we'll have muggers sitting on the dance floor, reading notes in the shimmering lights, with the speakers turned off.

And then we'll have screaming party animals stomping the the space between bookshelves in the library, using the partitions to mask their acts of grinding etc.
