to live in America, where every other day a great musician would be touring the states and you'd happen to be in one of them while the rest of the world can only wish they were nearer. Not to mention being able to root for a basketball team like Toronto Raptors, or Minnesota Timberwolves (haven't been keeping track of any name changes etc). Or to study in campuses that are surrounded by nature that makes imagining scenes from literature where it originated more enjoyable.
indeed, the Americanization disease has spread to this corner of Singapore, where by owning a product from there, you become, unwittingly, the slave of their culture. strongly due to the stratocaster sitting in front of me now that i am feeling this way.
