Numbers and figures

You know before university, four digit numbers were friends to me, the Nokia 8250, 8850 etc. Then in university they had module codes.

Attended the Singapore Youth Media Conference at Ngee Ann Polytechnic yesterday and it was a mind opening experience for me. A tad too long, ending at 6pm having started at 10am. The theme was pop culture ^^

More on it soon.

Useless fact of the day: The Media Development Authority is in charge of allowing dialects to be played in TV shows. Damn Korea and Japanese shows have dual sound but not HK serials! Perpetual argument between those who feel that Singapore has matured and can accept race, language, religious differences and those who feel that to maintain the Singaporean identity Mandarin should remain the official language. Interestingly back in Sociology class we learnt that Mandarin was frowned upon at one time way back in the 60's - 70's due to rampant Communism ideologies coming from China.

Thank you my guiding stars who led me out of one rut!! Now i can play music without worry for the remaining months before picking up the pickaxe and start hacking the books once again.

I love to study i love to study i love to study i love to study (repeat countless times until convinced)... sure beats working =รพ
