Not being accepted by the host when he just arrived, and losing his roots after staying on too long.
Happy to have walked out of the call centre today with the affirmation that not all HK-ers working in offices are f*ckers. Maybe it's because of the stressed uncle that provided some warped allegory to the working class population, and improved their attitudes. Maybe it's because the previous project i did was too invasive, asking for executive names in their companies. This time we get to pretend to be IT experts asking diagnostic questions. *Waves hands frantically asking to be chosen*
Even happier that my Eason Chan CD U87 has arrived via mail today, really loved 夕阳无限好, coming of age song by the father who had squished a testicle some time back due to a mishap ascending the stairs.
Pleasantly surprised by the momento Nick brought back from Japan (Thank You!!), somewhat related to what we touched on during the Japanese Studies module. Apparently we have to draw one eye and then make a wish before filling in the other socket. Next, bring it to the temple where it was bought and burn it. Mission accomplished, wish granted *I wish for another eleven wishes, to cover the cost of making this one*
The evening's chill out place was Subway, Marina Square. It's been a year since i last went there, when it was still under renovation! Somehow the chat relighted the passion for Vice City, where i last got stuck in an airplane mission. And we had a good night's conversation, in the company of Feli and Nick ^^ Warning: avoid Subway's chicken and steer towards their meat ball with melted cheese.
Suddenly all is silent.
