Not exactly my idea of desirable descriptions to be a smart person in the workforce, honest and capable.
But yet, somehow I do get that feeling when I talked to other people during my overseas trip with SLC 2006. Maybe National Service has made the guys obedient and they somehow affect the females as well.
Not desirable, but at least we're not just known as the country that bans chewing gum and canes people's backsides for commiting crimes!

I think I'll be part of that population next August? I feel like I'm doing the right thing, and I made the choice before he said it =p This is in response to him encouraging Singaporeans to go overseas to gain experience.
