Tomorrow we're gonna get something for someone, fix baby's phone, fix my phone (the fixing sucks) and we're gonna try out our new inline skates!
Useless fact of the day: It's not really rollerblading as an activity. Rollerblade is just the first company to popularize inline skating such that it's become synonymous with the sport itself.
And then the self-reinforcing loop sets in. More research can be done on the how.
Useless fact of the day 2: I always thought there was something wrong with the term "inbuilt". Guess what, it's an official entry in answers.com! Well it means the same as "built-in", the term I was first exposed to early in my English training. The real misnomer would be inbuild in this case, because "build" will always be passive as something is being built into something else. And someone used that in a forum!! NUS forum >.<

In the words of Cobain
"With the lights out,
It's less dangerous.
Here we are now.
Entertain us!"
It felt very spiritual, and is the fastest cure for headaches.
Step 1: (You must have a headache to begin therapy)
The real Step 1: Play vintage pop music with low bass settings in your living room hifi. Softly.
Step 2: Take bolster / neck pillow from bed and bring it out to the living room
Step 3: With bolster / neck pillow still cradled in your arm and your head leaning gingerly on it, proceed to switch off ALL the lights at home
Step 4: ALL the lights off and ALL windows must be closed (Windows to be advised based on level of haze: if hazy then close windows!)
Step 5: In the darkness, experiment with the sweet blank sanctuary you've created. Lie and change positions on the sofa as you deem fit
Note: Headache will be gone in 15 mins. Works best when alone at home.

Nope I don't have a god
But I wish the best for Dr. Cho's speedy recovery after his brain surgery.
All systems go, and I only crashed one of his lectures, but I think he rocks!

Useless fact of the day: Hong Kong to ban smoking in public places?! Good luck, Singapore isn't very successful, with almost every other public place I go still having inconsiderate bastards blowing the fumes all over the place. Most recent attack - yesterday at Starbucks outside Plaza Singapura. Indiscriminately smoking at the tables with the no smoking logo were some people. Sigh. Full story here.
Wee!
Well, that's that for Intro to Interactive Media's mid-term. We were the "role-model"! That leaves other things that still apply pressure to the testicles, namely
- Film essay 2000 words
- Media and Glob essay (I'm sure presentation we'll do well, only it's worth 5% so the essay must pack a punch)
- Advertising project which is scary because little seems to be done (interviewed Baby today - Thank you for being a sport bee!)
- Breaking news story which is causing a lot of bad karma to flow around, everyone hopes someone will be hit by a truck / fall down the stairs
Then it's the exams. Should get a countdown counter or something.
Useless muse of the day: Have you ever encountered an instance where you pop a DVD-R containing a .avi video file into your computer, and experienced very choppy playback? But when you copy it into your hard disk, it's fine? Makes me wonder if the optical drives are overdue for a data transfer upgrade, since hard disks have switched from ATAPI / IDE / PATA to SATA, but the CD / DVD drives are still using older technology when there are huge amounts of data to be transferred.
