And there's always the saying that the world is small. I just didn't realise it would be so small that I would happen to go to the same Party World as Cheez would be going, at the same time, upon his brief stay here during his break from work in UK? Fibonaaci numbers, rule of thirds, some things in life are just so immaculately orchestrated.

PhotoShop-ping success! Removal of ugly red new year decoration. Kinda like how plastic surgery is nowadays - easy.
And thank you Gerber, for sending us the photo! 但係我唔mok嘴嘅你唔 send -.-!
Not impressed with how the area near the Chingay Parade was not properly cordoned off when there wasn't through-access, causing a jam and unnecessary contact with sweaty pudgy bodies.
Foul!
Useless fact of the day (before school starts in hours' time): Fibonaaci numbers, from visual comm module, are running numbers that exist in nature. These numbers help to explain why certain things are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Example, some flowers have 5 petals etc, these are instances of Fibonacci numbers. The starting of the series goes like this: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8... See the pattern yet? Look at the number 3 in this sequence: it's made up of its previous two numbers (2 + 1) and 5 is of course 3 + 2.
The significance of this series of numbers? When it gets long enough, you'd notice that the factor between a number and its predecessor will be rougly 1.6. That's the golden ratio in art, where if you position your subject following this ratio along the frame in a picture/painting, it will look like an instant masterpiece. Voila!
This is but one of six ways I learnt about picture composition this holidays.
And the best part - no camera to try!
