Only the second official day I woke up in the bed with 2 other people sharing it, but it seems like weeks since I last set foot on Shanghai ground. Days become exceedingly long when fighting administrative and housekeeping problems. And then there is the proverbial "great firewall" of China to behold in all its glory, blocking access to certain websites. Like blogger. Until now.
Useless fact of the day: Shanghai is divided by the 黄埔 river, and the western end is more developed and land there is more valuable, although the eastern part is nearer the Pacific Ocean and is supposedly more conducive for trade and development.
