That was highly informative, Supersize Me. Spent today having breakfast with my sista's and baby at Coffee Bean @ Wheelock Place, then watching the movie at Shaw House. No worries of spoilers here as you have to watch it to feel compelled to say "I wash my hands off fast food". Within just 30 days of eating junk food, Morgan Spurlock had to diet for 8 weeks to purge himself of the damage he had done to his liver. No fair, there's no caramel sundaes in McDonald's and no Double Gulp in 7-Eleven like they have in the USA. Wonder if Shiuan and Caryn did eat McDonald's after all. Had more fun with the digital camera though i never got to use the function that has captured my imagination since digital photography came about: panoramic view mode. The one where you see the maximum field of vision a human sees on a picture. Just for the fun of it, I snapped a shot of the nearest McDonald's after the movie, which happened to be just outside. And throughout the show a dude out to show his indignance towards screening such a anti-fast food movie guffawed and snorted at the punchlines, all the while clutching his precious paper bag of takeaway McBurger to his chest. Reminds me of the T-shirt people wear that has the golden arches but ends off with a "sh*t". Book in time! Hopefully Garfield is next, VCD or big screen, doesn't matter.
