After finding out how the natives settle their meals last night, I went to Golden Shoe myself today and had ipoh hor fun, and saw this REALLY huge rat scurrying unhurriedly (imagine that) across the wiring overhead. Unhurriedly probably due to its size. Seems that it’s going to have problems clearing its IPPT. Just like its human equivalents.
Spent my after lunch sitting in front of the bird statue where the M1 commercial was shot, flipping the pages of the advanced theory book. Pigeons are docile creatures, and they don’t seem to fear humans, clustering at the river side and basking in the mid day sun. Cute to say the least. Some are nesting on the sun baked ground, fighting back the urge to slumber into oblivion for fear of getting kicked into the waters by the mischievous young of humans. Some are perpetually shifting their positions from rest, as if there were needles under their hinds. Some are pacing listlessly around, pondering upon the next combination of digits they should buy for the weekend. Then in a flash of an eye, there was a flurry of feathers, they were all gone.
I realized that walking or running or even riding on a vehicle is too slow, compared to flying. Imagine if humans had wings, not unlike on murals of angels. I always thought amphibians had it made, what about “tri-phibians”?
