Gay or Pro?

Steve Vai

My Hypothesis: The epitome of a consummate performer who has made his instrument a religion, and hence the potentially objectionable facial expressions when playing his Ibanez Jem guitar, as if working himself into a natural euphoria from the cumulatively fervent strokes he attacks his strings with.

Counter-argument proposed by Malkee: He looks gay when he does that.

See for yourself and be a judge! 3 mins to decide if he looks gay or pro. Hint: take note when it reaches the ending part when he mouths the "wah" sound made by the guitar.

"I've got a long way to go before reaching that buffet table at the end of the pier" thinks the black ant to himself. The orange midnight sky mocks at his apparent predicament by keeping silent, very silent. Only the whooshing sound of waves and the long journey ahead stood between the black ant and well deserved repast. Should he i) just charge like a horse that has his vision limited to the front? ii) start the journey at dawn and crawl back to his cozy den in between the wooden planks of the pier for a snooze?

Numbers and figures

You know before university, four digit numbers were friends to me, the Nokia 8250, 8850 etc. Then in university they had module codes.

Attended the Singapore Youth Media Conference at Ngee Ann Polytechnic yesterday and it was a mind opening experience for me. A tad too long, ending at 6pm having started at 10am. The theme was pop culture ^^

More on it soon.

Useless fact of the day: The Media Development Authority is in charge of allowing dialects to be played in TV shows. Damn Korea and Japanese shows have dual sound but not HK serials! Perpetual argument between those who feel that Singapore has matured and can accept race, language, religious differences and those who feel that to maintain the Singaporean identity Mandarin should remain the official language. Interestingly back in Sociology class we learnt that Mandarin was frowned upon at one time way back in the 60's - 70's due to rampant Communism ideologies coming from China.

Thank you my guiding stars who led me out of one rut!! Now i can play music without worry for the remaining months before picking up the pickaxe and start hacking the books once again.
