阿牛

Wolfie just said that i am stubborn (死牛一邊頸?)

Baby always describes the way i see things as overly pessimistic; 钻牛角尖

I love to eat croissant (牛角包)

My brother was bad-tempered when he was a child, and was called 牛精仔

My dad has psoriasis (牛皮癣)

With an inevitable association with the holy animal in India, I share this song with you.

Use(ful) fact of the day: Last week, we met some Korean students from the Yon Sei University of Korea. A masters student shared something with me that I may otherwise never have known in my life. Did you know that in Korea, they are ONE YEAR OLD upon birth, while we are ZERO YEAR OLDs until we live a calendar year? So it was really confusing when he told me his age - x in U.S. terms and x+1 years old in Korea. He did not know what "doing army" meant, but when I rephrased it to "military service" he knew what I was talking about. Interesting. Interesting. Now you know!

What I learnt today: from publications design, there are 2 colour schemes that are used popularly in software that create graphics and designs - CMYK and RGB. CMYK refers to Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (don't ask me why black is not B but K). These four colours overlap to create the millions of colours we see in images. But this scheme applies only to print. RGB, or Red, Green and Blue are for web graphics, and they represent the basic colours that light contains. Simply because the monitor or any display devices show the colours and images using light. That's even more amazing! This different colour system probably describes the classic lament, "but it doesn't show this colour on my monitor". Now you know ii!

Disclaimer: I am not acting smart. Wee!
